Teresa became interested in real estate as her life experiences brought her through three consecutive out-of-state corporate relocations.  Through the multiple relocation transactions, she learned how to buy a modestly priced home, be calculated with the updates, and sell it for a handsome profit. Her last corporate relocation placed her with a Howard Hanna agent who helped her settle in Solon with a 18 month old son just weeks before delivering her daughter. Teresa leaned heavily on her amazing real estate agent and custom builder to get settled into their new city. In just one day, they purchased their home, found an OB/GYN, a pediatrician, and chose a hospital to deliver Molly. They purchased new construction in Solon’s North Park Estates, so Teresa’s next endeavor was to design and choose the finishes, from out of state on an incredibly efficient timeline!

After 12 very happy years as a stay home mom, it was time for Teresa to get back into the working world. Teresa formed an LLC, handed her then 12 year old son Wesley a tool belt, hammer, tape measure, and made him the VP of Construction and Destruction. Then 10 year old Molly was given carpet samples, a color wheel and was made VP of Design. They boldly purchased three homes in two years. The Solon homes were renovated and sold for a profit.

 

“These investment properties were my training ground for becoming a REALTOR® It provided real-life negotiating skills, renovation knowledge, and contractor experience to service my clients in a unique and very special way,” says Teresa.  By the beginning of 2015 Teresa was a licensed real estate agent. 

 

In just over 9 years as a Howard Hanna real estate agent with nearly 325 sales and pushing $120,000,000 in volume, Teresa has earned the distinction of Rookie of the Year, a consistent Top Listing Leader and Top Sales Leader, a continual Champions Club Member, Ohio Association of Realtors President’s Club awardee, Women’s Counsel of Realtors Leading Lady of Real Estate, Homes of Distinction agent, residential relocation specialist and Howard Hanna’s Best of the Best. Her Howard Hanna Solon Office has the highest market share in the Solon community, and Teresa sold the most number of homes of any single agent in her office for the last 5 years in a row.

 

However more important than these awards and designations, is that 21 years as a Solon resident, Teresa can proudly say she has personally built, bought, sold, invested and renovated in Solon. This is her biggest honor.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Jennifer has spent the past 8 years in Solon raising three wonderful kids. After dedicating herself to them for 17 years, Jennifer is diving back into the working world, drawn by her long-standing fascination with real estate (thanks in part to her nightly dedication to watching House Hunters!).

Teresa is also a TV Host of American Dream TV – Selling Cleveland, a nationally recognized and Emmy-nominated show centered around real estate and lifestyle that inspires and uplifts communities across the country through positive media.

 

As one of ten hosts in Northeast Ohio, Teresa explains how the program is all about spreading positive vibes. Every episode features five agents, who each have a five minute segment to explore and share their love of the city with viewers. While the focus, hosts, and filming crew are all local, the program gets edited back in California and airs on a local TV channel. It’s also streamed on Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Tubi, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube Movies & TV, and Roku. Her most recent episode was featured on the TRVL Channel in June.  

 

While the program obviously tackles a little real estate, Teresa describes the main focus of the show to be lifestyle, culture, and real estate. Admittedly she also points out that it’s not “reality tv”. “The program showcases Cleveland and the community. It focuses on the beauty and culture of our city and what it has to offer those who live here,” she says.
