Really Roxy!
Meet Tara Colameta's darling doggo!
Roxy, an energy-filled three-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, brings endless joy to Tara Colameta.
Originating from Surprise, Arizona, Roxy was raised with horses and surrounded by the love of a family. Her early life on a farm has made her a lively companion.
"Roxy adores the kids and just loves people," Tara shares. "Everyone is stopped when we go for walks so she may greet them."
Roxy's personality shines during her favorite activities. She loves going for walks, getting her zoomies out, and cuddling with her family. Living on a main road doesn't stop Roxy from enjoying her outdoor adventures. A special highlight of her walks is meeting another corgi pal at Pye Brook Park.
Roxy has a soft spot for their neighbor, who regularly drops by with bones. "Roxy rings the bell at our front door when she wants to go out, and like clockwork, she knows when our neighbor comes by in the morning so she can run out and get her bone!" Tara says.
Pembroke Welsh Corgis like Roxy are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and friendly nature. These herding dogs are highly trainable and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Roxy is all of this and more, especially when she’s on her best behavior and waiting for a treat.
Roxy's love for her family and her community makes her a beloved figure in the neighborhood. Whether she’s greeting passersby or enjoying a cuddle session, Roxy brings happiness to all who meet her. “She ADORES the kids and just loves people,” Tara says.
Roxy’s playful spirit and brings smiles and wagging tails wherever she goes.
