This month, we’re introducing Mei Jing, a clever and cute French Bulldog who remains a proud member of the Chien family. Mei Jing came from an experienced Taiwan breeder, who has been in business for up to 40 years. After countless hours of research and careful consideration, the Chien family decided to take in Mei Jing with open arms from this breeder, which turned out to be one of the most significant and impactful decisions of their lives, and to this day, both canine and human parties are glad they decided what they did. 

Throughout the journey of being with Mei Jing, as with any French Bulldog, a few health hardships occurred specifically due to her breed, even with Mei Jing being bred with specifically larger nostrils. Despite all of this, Felix and Shyyun Chien pushed through each challenge with their love, affection, and care they had for their pup and refused to back down even for a moment. Mei Jing still remains happier and healthier as ever thanks to the persistence and adoration of her owners.

This pup does enjoy a variety of activities, including hanging out with family, playing with other fur-friends, and pleasing her owners. She also loves learning challenging but impressive tricks and getting treats as rewards. For example, she’s currently learning how to ride a skateboard, which is a pretty stunning ability considering that you don’t see a dog skateboarding everyday. Mei Jing also greatly takes delight in hanging out with her two favorite dolls, Bernie the bear and Samu the sloth, they’re inseparable! Lastly, she lets Shyyun dress her up! In fact, Mei Jing even brought home the ever-so-coveted "Best Dressed" award (dressed in an elaborate swan costume) from the 2024 Travisso Puppy Pageant! 

With being through tough and joyous times together, Mei Jing maintains and will continue to be a source of cheriness and enjoyment for the Chien family while they remain to be hers. From the moment Mei Jing stepped into the Chien’s lives, it has been a mutually loving, affectionate, and heart-warming adventure for everyone. She provides happiness and they return with more love and care than one dog could ever ask for.
