Miranda is
Just Being Neighborly
"Don't mess with Travisso" says Miranda
Native Texan Miranda Moonilal needs no introduction as she is extremely involved in many aspects of the Travisso community. She is originally from the Houston area and moved to Austin to attend Southwestern University and then St. Edward’s. Miranda and her husband Miky live on Siena Sunset and enjoy visiting local breweries, walking their dog Taltos, and catching Austin FC games.
You may recognize Miranda for recently hosting the community-wide Fourth of July event at Sunset Park, leading a community clean-up on Earth Day or from one of the various social events in the community. Miranda channeled her inner “don’t mess with Texas” attitude to champion the HOA to provide no-cost exercise classes for all the Travisso residents.
Miranda loves being involved in community events and is a social butterfly who makes friends easily. This led her to start the Travisso Margarita Meet-Up in February 2022. The idea behind the meet-up was a way for the ladies of Travisso to relax, unwind, and get to know each other better. The first meet-up was only four ladies but has grown from there with more ladies showing up each month.
Each month, the Margarita Meet-Up is held at a different local restaurant which allows for the group to patronize a local spot and get to know the restaurants, their owners, and staff. The meet-up is a great way to make new friends in the neighborhood, and there is no need to worry about drinking and driving because the group always has a designated driver on hand who will gladly get everyone home safely. The meet-ups normally happen on the second Friday of the month, and all the ladies of Travisso are welcome to join in on the fun. For more information on joining the Margarita Meet-Up, look for the Facebook group Travisso Margarita Meet-Up. Cheers!
