Angie Dunbar: The Heart of Bee Organized Scottsdale Bringing Order and Joy
Meet Angie Dunbar, the heart behind Bee Organized Scottsdale. Originally from the small town of Lindsborg, Kansas—known as "Little Sweden USA"—Angie brings her warm, community-focused spirit to her professional organizing and move management business in Scottsdale.
Angie’s journey to starting Bee Organized Scottsdale is as varied and interesting as her life. After earning a degree in business administration from Kansas State, she embarked on a career that took her from Andersen Consulting to roles in inventory management, IT, and HR. But it was during her time as a stay-at-home mom, mentoring youth, serving on boards, and even starting a catering company with her sister that Angie discovered her true passion for entrepreneurship. This led her to real estate and eventually to the world of professional organizing.
Angie’s love for helping others is evident in the way she talks about her business. Bee Organized Scottsdale isn’t just about tidying up spaces; it’s about transforming lives. Angie and her team, affectionately known as "The Bees," pride themselves on their core values—or “bee-liefs”—of compassion, confidentiality, and non-judgment. Whether they’re purging clutter, packing and unpacking, or creating beautifully organized spaces, the focus is always on making life easier and more enjoyable for their clients.
What sets Bee Organized apart is the genuine care and connection Angie and her team build with their clients. As one client, Cheri M., shared, “The Bees went above and beyond when helping my mother move out of state from Scottsdale. We faced extraordinary challenges, and Angie and the team were there every step of the way. We couldn’t have accomplished the move without them!” Another client, Judy W., praised the team as “super organizers” who turned her project into a “showcase of beauty and efficiency.”
Beyond the satisfaction of a job well done, Angie finds fulfillment in the relationships she builds with her clients. She’s proud of the Scottsdale Hive, a team of amazing, compassionate individuals who make even the toughest jobs fun. For Angie, helping others clear their physical and mental clutter is more than just work—it’s a calling.
When she's not organizing, Angie and her spouse, Elmer, enjoy playing pickleball with friends. They’re both avid players and love spending time on the court. Angie and Elmer and the Bees also stay active in the community, supporting a number of local causes as well as a company-wide program Soles 4 Souls, that collects donated shoes for people in need in developing countries.
Angie’s advice to the neighborhood? “We all have too much stuff. Enjoy the things that are useful or that you love, and let go of the rest. After all, we can’t take it with us!”
