New Residents Sue Solorzano and Dylan Are Excited to Call Victoria Park Home

They Appreciate All That The Area Offers

Sue Solorzano and her son, Dylan, are new residents to Victoria Park, having moved to the neighborhood five months ago. They love their place in Victoria Park.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Sue arrived in Fort Lauderdale 20 years ago.

“I love the vibe, the ocean, the people and the fact that it is multi-cultural,” Sue stated.

Sue has been a realtor for nine years. Prior to that, she was a hairdresser for 10 years. She was inspired to become a realtor because she felt the potential was there to help buyers.

“I wanted to help make the transaction smoother for buyers. When you buy a property, it can be very challenging if you don’t know what your are doing,” Sue explained. “Real estate is one of the biggest and most important decisions people make.”

At that time, she also had an interest in fixing up properties and re-selling them.

While a hairdresser, she was able to put herself through real estate school. Sue liked being a hairdresser but knew she really wanted to get into real estate. She enjoyed hairdressing because she was able to work in the hotel industry. Sue worked at a salon at the Marriott Harbor Beach on Fort Lauderdale Beach.

“We had famous clients, club members and locals. I developed a good clientele there,” Sue said. Many of these people have worked with Sue as a realtor.

With a lot of hard work, Sue has worked her way up.

She started out with a boutique brokerage and moved to Compass and then to Sotheby’s International Realty. She is presently with LoKation Real Estate. As she has been able to build a solid clientele, LoKation is a great fit for her, and the majority of her clients are referrals.

Sue’s goals for the future are to keep growing and to be successful. She also wants finally to become a real estate investor. She will buy properties to rent out and pay off.

“This will be my retirement,” Sue says.

In the meantime, Sue is spending a lot of time with Dylan. They have a really close relationship.

“Dylan has a great personality and is very friendly. He is a social butterfly,” Sue states.

He helping others and wants to be an entrepreneur like his mother.

Dylan likes sports in general, including football, baseball and soccer.

Soccer is his favorite. He practices three times a week and has games on the weekends. He attends tournaments that are located throughout the state.

Dylan is a fan of Renaldo, who he says is the GOAT. He likes Messi now. Dylan and his mother attend Inter Miami games together.

Outside of soccer, Dylan and his mother enjoy fishing.

“It is very relaxing. I have my pink fishing pole,” Sue states. “We fish on the piers in Pompano Beach and Dania Beach. We fish in lakes too. Lake Melva off of Federal Hwy. is a good spot.” Dylan catches a lot of peacock bass there.

Sue is a foodie so she likes to eat out. She really likes steakhouses. Fleming’s and Del Frisco’s are her favorites. She also enjoys seafood a lot, and going to Lobster Bar. She is also a fan of Nube Rooftop at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Sue is grateful for her health, Dylan and her family, especially her mom and her sisters. She is excited about the future and being able to help others with their real estate needs. This includes buyers, first-time buyers, sellers, investors, friends and family.

“Whatever your needs are in real estate, I will help you find it,” Sue says. “My favorite parts of the process are negotiation and the closing day. I am a Real Estate Matchmaker.”
