The Conleys are dog lovers. They have 3 beagles in their home all are over a year old, born on April 28, 2023. Barrett and Bristol are tri-colored beagles, and Benson is a lemon beagle which is a rarer breed. Their beagle babies came into their lives through a friend of a friend.

 

They have always given their fur babies names that begin with the letter “B”. This time around, they went with more mature names and between Shannon and Rich, and their son Nich, they all had a hand in giving them their proper names.

These beagles are very social! They love, love, love any attention they can get! They have been on a few walks around the neighborhood, but during the hot summer, they chose to wait it out until cooler weather. They are definitely indoor dogs but also love their outdoor time.

Bristol is the mischievous one. She's dug out a few holes in the fence and crawled to freedom in the neighbor's yard like she's out of the Shawshank Redemption. She's also a squirrelly, little spider-monkey who's always looking for a fight with one of her big brothers. Bristol is the youngest and smallest, yet the boss of the pack!

 

Barrett, the middle child, is the quick learner and team captain. He was opening doors around the house as soon as he could reach them, barging in like a sitcom star. He was the first to "find his voice" (even if it does sound like a little girl's) and will pack away whatever you put in his bowl. He's also a crybaby. Barrett is a daddy's boy and when he hears the TV on and dad is watching Gunsmoke, Barrett will jump up into his dad's lap, and watch it with him.

 

Benson, the oldest, is talented more so in his lack of activity. He can sleep anywhere, anytime, and in any position (think of an ink blot test on a yoga mat), so long as he can cover his face or roll up like a fatty burrito in his blanket. He also loves shoes... just not wearing them. Benson is a mama's boy and when he knows he's in trouble, he lays down, rolls over, and plays the victim.
