Bill and Michele both served in the Air Force, graduating from USAF Academy in 1983.  Michele served through her commitment in 1988 while Bill served until 1994 when he separated under the VSI (Voluntary Separation Incentive).  Michele was a Cost & Management Analysis Officer then a Budget Officer.  Bill was an F-4 pilot then later became a Transportation Officer/Squadron Commander while stationed at RAF Alconbury, England.  

Michele's first assignment was right here in Texas at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, while Bill went through pilot training at Vance AFB, Enid, OK.  They were finally stationed together in 1985 in Spangdahlem, Germany.
