The Klebba Family
Meeting Adversity Head On And Succeeding
Hi neighbors, we are Ryan and Mallory Klebba, many of you may remember us, or at least our home, from the Greater New Braunfels Home Builder Associations 2023 Parade of Homes in October. Our home, situated on just over 8 acres in Canyon Ranch is a dream we never thought possible and could not be more grateful for.
Just before welcoming our identical twin boys, Raleigh and Micah in the Fall of 2017, our family was faced with the destruction of Hurricane Harvey. Two sets of our parents were displaced
from the total loss of their homes in Houston, TX while we were faced with severe damage to a vacation property in Port Aransas, TX. As luck would have it, Ryan was the President of the Board of the Condominium Association. Trusting that this was for a greater purpose, we took some major leaps. Mallory was presented with an opportunity to create Design Packages and Programs by the General Contractor selected to rebuild the 52-unit condominium complex. It just so happened that the firm she worked for at the time was not interested in properties outside of our then hometown, Austin, TX and with this, RMK & CO. was formed, and we were officially entrepreneurs!
Upon completion of the renovations in Port Aransas in early 2020, we took our second giant leap and purchased the property in Vintage Oaks, before the major real estate boom that the country would see later that year. Due to COVID, nothing was moving, we vividly recall conversations about having just made a great decision or completely sinking our family’s financial future. Once real estate began to shift, we decided to sell both our home in Austin and vacation condo in Port Aransas to build in Vintage Oaks and make New Braunfels the place where we’d raise our children and grow our family business. Little did we know at the
time, with the stroke of a pen, that we had just changed the entire future of the Klebba family, especially how our kiddos got to grow up! We officially moved the business from Austin and re-launched RMK and CO. in New Braunfels following the aforementioned Parade of Homes and are proud to have received several awards for our Architectural, Interior, and Landscaping Designs brought to life by G. Morris Custom Homes including; 1st Place Kitchen, 1st Place Owners Suite, 2nd Place Interior Design, 2nd Place Floorplan, 3rd Place Craftsmanship,
and the two most coveted awards, Best of Parade as well as People’s Choice.
As CEO, Mallory leads with a passion for creativity, organization, and having her team thrive at their talents. For Mallory, Design is a multifaceted art form that blends the senses to create lasting impressions. Utilizing raw materials as her inspiration, she strives to enhance the natural beauty of the surrounding area to deliver stunning combinations of style and unexpected moments with incredible attention to detail. Ryan, COO ensures that our day-to-day operations and structure are as solid as our breathtaking projects. After a very successful 30-year career developing and managing both new product divisions and sales teams for a multi-billion-dollar medical company, Ryan has joined his wife, Mallory to manage the rapid growth of
RMK & CO. locally and around the country. Seeing how his wife’s talent brings joy to others inspires him daily.
The boys attend Kindergarten at New Braunfels Christian Academy and enjoy hiking the property with our German Shepard/Husky mix, Kimber. Their favorite time to explore is when the dry creek located on the edge of the property line has water running through it from a fresh rain. Hiking “treasures” have included hawk feathers, frogs, animal bones, and pictures of turkey and deer. They also love to ride bikes and ATVs, play soccer, and have recently begun music as well as art lessons from some wonderful neighbors. Ryan can usually be found in his Man Cave/Shop, referred to as, “The KlebHaus” and yes, it is his very own grown-up playroom! All three of the boys (and when invited, mom) enjoy working on cars, clearing cedar trees with the tractor, playing board games, and watching monster trucks in this space. This winter we’ve also really enjoyed stargazing with s’mores around the firepit.
Our family has been welcomed into the community and neighborhood by some truly incredible people. We are grateful for each and every person that we are lucky enough to call a friend and look forward to meeting more of the wonderful neighbors who live in this amazing community. We plan to call Vintage Oaks home for a long time and hope to make positive, lasting relationships and impressions on the community through our business relationships, personal relationships, as well as philanthropic efforts for years to come. Should you see us at a neighborhood event or around town, please say hello!
