PART 2: Home of Rangy & Tamie Gay

They chose to use Quartz for the countertops and their black Blanco Apron front sink is another pop of black that works perfectly in the space.

After planning, designing and living through construction for a number of months, Randy and Tamie Gay are enjoying their newly renovated spaces, and the transformation turned out beautifully. Each of these spaces were taken down to the studs and given a completely new footprint. The end goal was not only to update the spaces with a new look, but to maximize space and have an open concept layout. During this renovation, they partnered with Ashlea Brooke Home for the design work and JKD Industries was the contractor who handled the construction. One big consideration during these renovations and when selecting the finishes for these spaces was to be able to merge the updated spaces with the existing spaces stylistically. With the finishes chosen, the new transitional style kitchen, bar area and mudroom work effortlessly with the other rooms in their home that feel very traditional in style. For the paint colors; they chose to stay very neutral with whites, touches of grays and pops of black. All of the cabinetry in this project was custom designed and built accordingly.
