Duh-duh-duh-dum (snap, snap)! 

Meet the Adames family!  They're not creepy or kooky, mysterious or spooky! But they are the Adames family! Meet Kevin, Molly, Anika, Andrew, Elijah, and Ellie, their 14-year-old black Lab.

Kevin is a native Houstonian, born and raised in the Cy-Springs area. Upon graduation, he attended U of H. He was also working as a designer in the oil and gas field, and the dollar signs beckoned him. So he quit school and went to work.  At age 34, Kevin decided to go back to school, where he finished his bachelor's at Southern New Hampshire University and then obtained his MBA there as well while working full-time. Currently, he's the senior project manager and VP of production for a steel fabrication company.

Molly grew up in South Dakota. She received her Bachelor of Science at Augusta University in South Dakota and then onto law school at The University of South Dakota School of Law.  Over the years, Molly worked in a law firm, provided healthcare law, was in development and management of healthcare entities, and was a lobbyist for Physician Hospitals of America, at which point she became tired of living in D.C. Molly was speaking at a convention for orthopedic surgeons in New Orleans. Kevin was attending a bachelor party in New Orleans. Molly decided to go have a drink at the bar after her conference. Kevin's friends see her and invite her to have a drink with them. Against her better judgment, she did! The couple dated long-distance for a while, and Kevin convinced Molly that Houston is the place to be! Molly rented a house in Katy with her two children, Anika (8) and Andrew (5). The children were curious about moving to Texas, wondering if they would have to say "y'all" and have buck teeth. After a year in Katy, Molly and Kevin were married in June 2011. While moving to Weston Court in Weston Lakes in August, the couple discovered they were expecting!

Anika is a junior at Texas Tech majoring in theater and communications with plans to do voice acting.  Andrew is planning to attend a trade school with an interest in becoming an electrician. He enjoys skateboarding and is an amazing golfer. He works at Pepperoni's in Fulshear. Eli is going into fifth grade at Morgan Elementary. He plays basketball, is on the Weston Lakers swim team, loves animals, and is looking forward to playing the trombone this year in band. He loves the fact that all his friends live here in the neighborhood.

Molly is currently the director of development for Commercial Banking at Bank MD, which is a bank focused 100% on medical loans. She's also a business broker on the side, listing and selling businesses. 

Weston Lakes was the only place the couple looked when in the market for a home.  It works great for Kevin since it's easy access to the energy corridor. The couple loves the feel of community here, and they know a lot of people with tight-knit relationships! It's like their own little island among the craziness. 

Kevin and Molly are big-time foodies, and Kevin loves to smoke meats and BBQ. He adopted Anika and Andrew in 2018. The family attends Parkway Fellowship. Molly volunteers with Elijah Rising, an anti-children's trafficking group. Kevin loves to work out. Together, they are dedicated to the Houston theater scene due to Anika's involvement, and they both love to play golf. As a family, they are huge Disney fans and are Vacation Club members.
