My Closet Transformation:
A Haven of Organization and Style
Built in drawers and countertops to store and display items
I'm Lucie Neumann, and for me, the newest addition to my house has quickly become my favorite room – my meticulously organized and stylish closet. Alongside my family, including my mom Jessica, dad Ryan, brother Max (1), and sister Cassidy (3), we moved to our new home in the Highlands just six months ago. Little did I know that the transformation of my closet would become a game-changer in my daily life.
My family enlisted the expertise of Closet Factory, a custom organization company, to bring our vision to life. The result: three beautifully designed closets tailored to suit me, my siblings (who share a room), and my parents. The transition from wire racks to white solid shelving and double/triple hanging spaces hasn’t just elevated the functionality of our closets but looks ten times better too.
I love feeling so organized, and my closet now holds my books, magazines, sports bags, and shoes. I can also fit in my games and activities right now, but as I grow older, I can change that section to have more space for clothes.
Throughout the process, I also learned a simple yet effective method to declutter by putting my hangers backward at the start of each season. At the season's end, whatever is still backward means it wasn’t worn and it can be donated.
If you want some help fully utilizing your closet space, like my family, I would definitely recommend the Closet Factory!
