Honoring Julie Nash

This month, Julie Nash is our Notable Neighbor honoree.  Mrs. Nash has been volunteering in our community since 2018.  She said that the farm and the Conservancy were some of the reasons why she moved to Willowsford.  She is always helping with CSA activities and is helpful to fellow Willowsford residents. She’s very kind, smart, and friendly. Maybe you’ve met her when picking up your CSA share, or when she was volunteering at one of the great Willowsford events or, perhaps, she even knocked on your door in the Farm CSA Canvassing campaign, where she was one of a handful of volunteers who knocked on EVERY door in Willowsford to spread the news about this CSA season! You don’t have to take my word for it, check out what some of our other neighbors have to say about her:

“Julie is always so kind and welcoming when we pick up our veggies each week!  She takes the extra time to get to know everyone and makes picking up our CSA that much better!” Colleen Cain, Resident

“Julie has a great passion for the Farm and the CSA program, which blends well with her talent and love for cooking. She has spent countless hours volunteering to not only help with distribution but also to tell others about the wonderful offerings through the CSA. She also volunteers at the local food bank to help others. She is a wonderful neighbor!” - Debbie Angerman, Resident

"It's always such a treat to visit with Julie when picking up orders from the farm!  Her friendly and laid-back demeanor puts everyone right at ease, and her dedication to volunteering speaks volumes about her kind heart!" -Billie Rose, Resident

"We appreciate Julie's hard work and commitment at the Conservancy!  The Farm Stand wouldn't run as smoothly without her!" - Sophie Lambert, Willowsford Conservancy

“Julie (and her husband) really love Willowsford.  She’s passionate about taking care of the land and the people who help us maintain this beautiful community. Always willing to help and genuinely interested in talking to and learning about the people who she meets.  I’m so glad to have met her.” - Leah Macchiarolo, Resident and Best Mom
