“I grew up in a family-owned, full-service landscaping business,” Austin shares. “I was trained there and decided I wanted to pursue the landscape and hardscape industry as a career path.” Austin first took on a sales and estimation position at a local commercial concrete contractor, and two years later, in 2021, he began building Acer Landscaping. “Since then, we have seen rapid growth,” he says, attributing the company’s success to providing services that focus on building long-lasting client relationships. “Communication, reliability and consistency are core values that we intentionally execute.”

 

Acer Landscaping comprises a small team of dedicated people who strive to deliver a seamless full-service landscaping experience for clients. “Our desire is that only smiles appear when our crew shows up to maintain your outdoor spaces,” declares Austin, who is quick to compliment — not compete — with other local landscaping companies. “A lot of good people work at those companies, and they offer lot of excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail,” he comments. “I believe there is enough work in this industry to go full circle. Austin, a Miami Valley native, also emphasizes that his business does not try to generate more sales by pushing any packages and installs. “We're here to provide what you ask us to do,” he promises, sharing that the most fulfilling part of operating a full-service landscape service is making customers happy and completely satisfied.

 

When Austin is not busy elevating outdoor spaces, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Janet, and their daughter. “We enjoy skiing, boating, traveling and, most importantly, serving the Lord Jesus Christ daily in everything we do.” 

 

Defining success as doing what makes him satisfied, Austin hopes to be remembered as a member of the community who promoted good and who, ultimately, spread the Gospel.
