Pamper Your Pet With Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming

We’ve all likely heard Mark Twain’s famous quote, “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Not everyone gets to experience the joy of transforming a passion into a professional position, but Tracy Fulton, owner of Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming, proves it is possible. “I get to play with dogs and cats all day,” she shares. “That is not a job. It is a dream come true. “

Tracy opened her full-service grooming business because she was unhappy working as a senior business analyst in the corporate world. “Working a job that isn’t personally satisfying is not good for anyone,” she professes. “At some point, we need to stop and identify our passion. What do we want to do when we grow up? We just need to be brave and believe and invest in ourselves.”

“So, here we are,” Tracy smiles. “My passion is animals, and I have always loved to pamper my animals.” Creating a plan to become a mobile pet groomer, Tracy researched and learned how to become a groomer and then attended Diamond Cut Dog Grooming School. “The best decision I ever made,” she says. “I loved it. Nancy, the instructor, was fabulous.” Tracy spent many hours taking online classes and attending seminars, and she keeps learning every day.

Pawsitively Purrfect Mobile Pet Grooming’s top-quality dog and cat services include ear and paw pad cleaning, potty area cleaning, nail trims, bathing with two shampoos and conditioner, cuts and trims, shave-downs, and drying. The beauty of this business is that Tracy comes to you for one-on-one services for your pet. “I come to your home and perform all services in my van, which helps with anxious pets and those who do not like riding in a car,” she explains. “Also, you don’t have to wait to have your pet groomed, like you would at a grooming shop.”

Tracy’s business has taken off with word-of-mouth referrals because she forms relationships with her clients and pets, welcomes them as part of her family, is selective with the products she uses, and delivers beautiful results. Her repeat clients love her. “The dogs run into my van and can’t wait to see me,” she beams. “It melts my heart.”

Tracy, who welcomes all Yankee Trace neighbors to give her services a try, is happy to share some grooming advice for the pet owners in the neighborhood:

  • Brush, brush, brush. Those who have doodles know what I mean.
  • Rub paw pads to help with nail trims.
  • Start grooming puppies as soon as their proper vaccinations are complete.
Born in Dayton and growing up in the small town of Marengo, Tracy now lives in Miamisburg and adores spending time with her three daughters and two granddaughters (plus one more on the way) when she is not creating magic in her grooming van. The family loves going to Dale Hollow and having lake time. Tracy is also restoring her 1846 historic home.

Grateful for her parents, her successful daughters, her clients, and her pawsitively purrfect business, Tracy expresses, “I want to thank everyone for believing in me and my business. I look forward to meeting future clients and their fur babies.”
